Shaws Promotional Days - 27th & 28th June 2008

Shaws re-fit and re-branding of our Lauder store was marked by a weekend of special promotions; including a prize draw for £250 worth of delicious meat and various signed cookbooks. Samples of our products were available for our customers to try before they purchased. The grand prize of £250 worth of meat products was won by Valma Henderson of Lauder; see image below.

Sliced Sausage Champions

Shaws are proud to announce we have been crowned South-East of Scotland Traditional sliced sausage champions 2008. The title, awarded by the Scottish Federation of Meat Traders, was fiercely contested by Butcher's shops from across the region; see image below.

Butchers Shop of the Year Awards

Our Melville outlet was one of three Scottish finalists in the search for Britain's best Butcher's shop. The search was organised by the Meat Trades Journal and the awards ceremony was held at Claridges in London.
